The Khalsa Academy Wolverhampton is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who has:

 

• Good standard of Education (Level 3) together with good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE English and Maths or equivalent).

• At least 2 years’ experience of working closely with SEND.

• Good ability to use technology (computer, email, photocopier etc.)

• Knowledge of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety, security and confidentiality.

• Ability to relate well with children and communicate diplomatically and tactfully with adults (e.g. parents)

Support- Exam Invigilator

Salary: GBP £12 per hour

We have an excellent opportunity for highly organised, committed and enthusiastic individuals to join our current team of Exam Invigilators.

Experience of exam invigilating is desirable, however full training will be provided. Employment will be on a casual basis, but you will need to have flexibility through the exam periods from 08.00am – 3.30pm for invigilating sessions.

The post holder will support the Lead Invigilator/Examinations Team with the day-to-day operation of examination venues.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably qualified First Aid Lead & Attendance Support Officer.

The main purpose of the First Aid Lead & Attendance Support is to administer immediate first aid to those who are ill or injured and those arising from specific hazards at school; and to make appropriate decisions when to call an ambulance or refer to other medical professionals. 

Responsible for identifying attendance issues and patterns of absence/late arrivals. Contact with parents over all aspects of attendance including written correspondence when required. Produce attendance reports.
