Parents, Carers and Students,

                                                                                           

We are very excited to be welcoming our Year 12 students back to school tomorrow. This is a thrilling time for both the students and staff, representing the next and final stage of our students’ secondary education.

 

 School will commence 8am on Thursday 6th September and year 12 will be the only students in school for the first two days. We have organised a thoroughly exciting program of induction on with a range of activities designed to stimulate and support students in their transition into the Sixth Form. 

 

A brief outline of the days and the equipment required is outlined below.

 

Thursday 6th September

 

  • Register in the playground by 8am
  • Students must attend in suits, in accordance with the dress code
  • Students are required to bring writing equipment (including colouring pens and pads)
  • Students will need to bring a vegetarian packed lunch or money to purchase food off site
  • The day will consist of year group assemblies, tutor time, team building challenges, ice breakers and a study skills seminar

 

Friday 7th September

  • Register in the playground by 8am
  • Students must attend in outdoor clothing and shoes suitable or physical activity
  • Students will need writing equipment
  • Students will need to bring a vegetarian packed lunch
  • The day will consist of a careers session outlining pathways and options for the years ahead. This will be followed by a trip to Go Ape and a team work and bonding experience
