For older Y7-Y11 students, there are many websites which offer access to FREE ebooks.  Many students have smartphones or access to a computer so can download these books, set bookmarks, make the text larger and have the text read aloud.  Please let us know if you recommend any good sites, here is just a sample:

Reading Next Year In Tutor Time
Next year, Years 7 - 10 will be reading a book during tutor time and exploring the ideas together.  We feel this is a really important part of building our community and promoting the value of reading for all students across the school. The books that will be read are:

Year 7: War of the Worlds - H.G. Wells
Year 8: Pig Heart Boy - Malorie Blackman
Year 9: Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time - Mark Haddon
