Homework
Homework starts after a few weeks of settling in and in your child’s book-bag each week there will be:
1) A Free Choice Book - a book chosen by your child for you to read to them. These books help children access higher level text than they would be able to read independently.
2) Reading Books- please ensure that you spend some time talking about the pictures in the book and then listen to your child reading.
3) Sounds- please encourage your child to hear each sound in simple words.
4) Home Learning Book - with a choice of activities, choose one to complete each week with your child.
5) Star of the week: two children are chosen each week to take a cuddly toy home for the weekend and write, draw or take pictures of their weekend with the cuddly toy.
When do I do Physical exercise?
Reception P.E takes place every Wednesday.
