Mr Bhaskar Mukherjee MBA, MIChemE Member
Bhaskar Mukherjee has over 30 years of chemical engineering expertise in international oil companies. He has a MBA from Manchester Business School and is a chartered chemical engineer. Bhaskar currently works as a market manager for Chevronn nd has worked in Europe, Middle East and India.
Bhaskar has been a school governor for over five years and is passionate about education.
Mr Ian Anderson BA FCA FCCA - Member
Ian studied Economics and Statistics at the University of Exeter and joined Grant Thornton, London, where he progressed to be a senior manager in the Audit Department. Ian has also worked in general practice with the Thames Valley firm, Oury Clark and Morley Scott which subsequently merged with Menzies LLP. Ian is a specialist in the not for profit sector, acting for a dozen such clients at one time, including the Licensed Trade Charity, with net assets of £50million, and the United Kingdom Accreditation Service, privatised from the (then) DTI. Ian is a charity trustee, having been a trustee of the Licensed Trade Charities Trust, Chairman then Secretary of the Bray & Holyport Scout Group, Chairman now Treasurer of the Holyport Youth Club and a trustee of the Maidenhead & District Scout Council. Ian is a member of the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee of the Board.
Mr Inder Singh Uppal MBE - Chair of Members, Member, Trustee and Director
Inder is the Chair of Members of the Trust and has over thirty years of experience in senior positions within various public sector roles. These have included the following: a member of the Parole Board where he visited over thirty prisons and made recommendations for improvement in services; Vice Chairman of the Ealing Hospital NHS Trust; a director of NHS Ealing Health Watch; a member of the London Clinical Senate which is the body that supports the improvement of services by providing recommendations to health commissioners; a member of the Metropolitan Police Committee; a visiting lecturer at Bramshill Police College and the CEO of the Hounslow Community Relations Council for over 20 years. Inder has also recently been involved in a free school bid for a Sikh School in Hounslow and is the Chair of the Sikh Excellence Academy Trust.
Mr Moni Singh Pangali Member
Mr Pangali is the Managing Director of KSPARK Events and Dance Academy, a leading live performance, choreography, production and event management company that has run events for the FA, GSK and UBS Wealth Management. The organisation also runs a dance academy teaching hundreds of students a blend of traditional Indian Gatak and Bollywood dance lessons in several London locations including Harrow, Slough, Kingston and Ilford.
Mr Pangali has over thirty years of experience in general management, sales, marketing, strategic planning, financial management and new business development.
Mr Tarlochan Singh - Member
Tarlochan Singh is an experienced governor of a local outstanding school and currently works for DHL as an operations manager. He has good experience of governance in education and the commercial sectors and is an active member of the local Sikh community. He has supported schools with fundraising initatives.
Dr Jude Mitchell-Hedges - Trustee and Director
Dr Mitchell-Hedges holds a professional doctorate in social work and is currently the Director of Forensic Mental Health, Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust & Thames Valley and Wessex Forensic Network Provider Collaborative. Dr Mitchell-Hedges has over 28 years’ clinical experience in a wide range of complex criminal justice, forensic and generic inpatient and community mental health settings. Dr Mitchell-Hedges is a member of Royal College of Psychiatrists Quality Network for Forensic Mental Health Services Advisory Group. Dr Mitchell-Hedges has extensive experience in incident command, structured debriefing, MCA/DOLS, safeguarding, NHS finance, “No Secrets” disclosures, RCA investigations, suicide awareness, VRP, HCR-20, various intervention modalities, various areas of HR process and NHS improvement methodology
Mr Manmeet Singh MA, ADMA - Vice Chair of Trustee and Director
Manmeet Singh is an accomplished and resilient Risk and Compliance Director (CRO) with a progressive career spanning over 30 years specialising in risk, governance and compliance in highly regulated financial and payment services industries. A visionary Head of Control and Compliance with a consistent track record in developing robust risk management frameworks, maintaining effective governance structures, embedding industry and firm specific compliance policies and processes, ensuring ongoing alignment with FCA (CCA, PSD2 and MiFid II), FATCA, GDPR and global regulations.
Manmeet was instrumental in establishing the risk and compliance function for British Business Bank which was transitioned from the Department of Business Innovation and Skills in 2015, through successfully developing the bank’s new Risk Management Framework, compliance policies and procedures, internal controls and systems.
Manmeet spearheaded the OFT to FCA transition project for BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions through preparing the business and its introductory sources for requirements under CONC and achieving FCA authorisation for 5 Consumer Credit entities

Mr Nick Singh Kandola MA, MBA - Trust Leader, CEO, Trustee
Nick is the Chief Executive of the Trust and has been involved in helping establish multiple schools within the UK. Nick has over 15 years experience as Chair of Governors for multiple schools. Nick has over 6 years experience of working in senior positions in the NHS, most recently as Director of Transformation for Hampshire Hospital Trusts. Nick has also worked in a senior leadership position of a SEN school for four years and a 19-25 college of further education. Nick has led the Khalsa Academies Trust since 2013. The Trust is a not-for-profit charity that runs three schools and supports a further two schools in the UK.
Ms Shaminder Kaur Rayatt MA - Chair of Trustees and Director
Shaminder is the Chair of Trustees and a senior educationalist in the college sector. Her expertise lies in improving Sixth Form provision and she was one of the team which set up the outstanding Sixth Form College Suffolk One. During her leadership as Faculty Head for Humanities, the college was graded as outstanding and remains so to this day. She was recently the Deputy Director of Barnet and Southgate College leading the A Level, Science, Creative arts and Digital Technology Directorate. Shaminder has extensive experience in working with executive teams to design and implement college vision, strategic plans, policies and procedures and is a highly skilled people manager with a record of responsibility for 76 staff and over 2000 students studying Level 1 to Degree Level qualifications. Shaminder is also a specialist in implementing the use of ALPs to drive up value added across all Level 3 programmes
Ms Susan Jackson Vice Chair of Trustees, Director
Susan Jackson MA has over 30 years experience in education. She was a teacher, administrator, and three times School Principal (UK, Argentina, France), before establishing her consultancy. Susan has been a UK Ofsted Inspector of Schools for 15 years, and a Lead Inspector of Free Schools, Studio Schools, University Technical Colleges (UTC) and Academy conversions. She was selected by the British Cabinet Office for appointment to Public Bodies in 1992 and by the Department for Education for service on public bodies in 1993.
For over 25 years Susan has been an Examiner for the IB (International Baccalaureate). She has been a research fellow at the University of Bristol and was chosen to lead the Independent / International Schools’ Initiative at the National Development Centre for Educational Management and Policy. Susan is a Governor of an “outstanding” (OFSTED) State school in London, and of an “excellent” (ISI) girls’ independent school in Harrogate. She sits on the Management Committee of Caius House, the charitable mission established by Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge. Susan also has assumed responsibility as the safeguarding lead governor of two schools. Susan assumed full responsibility for the project management of 3 conversions: Pimlico Academy, Drapers' Academy and The Samworth Enterprise Academy. Susan is the Vice Chair of Trustees and the safeguarding lead for the Trust.
Gurpreet Dehal - Member
Gurpreet Dehal’s executive career focused on global risk management and strategic planning for financial firms including Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse. Keen to broaden out to other sectors, his first advisory role was in 2011 when he joined the Board of Royal Holloway University. He now sits on a number of advisory boards, also chairing audit/risk, personnel and remuneration committees for the organisations.
He has a strong focus on the education sector, being a trustee at E-ACT multi academy trust as well as on the Board of the Office for Students (the English regulator for Higher Education Providers). In addition, Gurpreet is on the Board of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation and also with Equiti Capital UK, an international financial services organisation "
