Message from the Chair of LAB

Dear Parents/Colleagues 

I would like to begin my introduction by stating it is an honour and privilege to serve as the new Chair of the LAB.  I take great pride in being associated with Atam Academy given its outstanding reputation, rich and true values, great ethos and principles, which is a great reflection of its students, teachers and support staff.

I would like to thank all those parents and guardians that have already written to the School/Board with their views and perspectives regarding school matters.  As Chair of the LAB I will endeavour to do my upmost to represent the students and parents views and I will not shy away from any challenges that I or the board are faced with. I  will work together with the LAB members  to get answers for the questions raised via recent emails from concerned parents. 

I am sure you all fully appreciate we are currently going through unprecedented times due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  As such we are all faced with challenges we could not have foreseen but collectively we are doing our best to ensure the students health and safety is our priority first and foremost and that their education is not unduly disrupted.

My final words in my message is, just like we teach our student core values about collaboration, honesty and respect, I ask that of my colleagues as well as the parents/guardians.
