KSA gets chosen in Young Writer's Competition!

Mar 2021

Congratulations to our young writers!

KSA recently received some great news from the organisers of the 'Unsolved' Young Writer's Competition after entering many students for the competition during the most recent national lockdown. This was a great opportunity for our students to develop and showcase their talents, and links very much with our desire to get KSA students to think like writers and really enjoy writing for pleasure.

We are very proud to announce that a very impressive 21 of our students have had their work selected to be published in their publication 'Unsolved - Caught Red-Handed'.

These talented students have been presented with certificates and a letter to parents congratulating them. They are very excited that their work is about to be published.

The school will receive a free copy of "Unsolved - Caught Red-Handed" for the school library, and students can order their own copies as a lasting reminder of their success in this competition.

At this stage, people can vote for their favourite stories. The five favourite published writers will each win a £500 prize, whilst the school with the best set of entries will win the 'Young Writer's Award of Excellence' and a trophy and a 'huge bundle of books' for the school library - We wish our writers well with this!

Congratulations young writers of Khalsa!
