From the 7th to the 15th of march Khalsa Sixth hosted finance workshops that were held for our year 12 sixth form students, each course was held over 2 days to give our students a wide range of knowledge and skills surrounding money which was presented by the organisation Mybnk. 

From the ‘Mybnk - Money Works’ course our students gained a recognised qualification that will set them up for their futures and aid them to grow independently.

The feedback we received from our students after the workshop was extremely positive, not just about the course itself but also how engaging and helpful the mentors from Mybnk were. After the course students have shown that they have a clear understanding of financial terms from concepts like standing orders to direct debits, mortgages, savings accounts, pay slips, pensions, tax and income codes.
