Reprographics and Medical/First Aid Officer

We have an internal/external position available for Reprographics and Medical officer.

  • Respond promptly to students arriving at first aid for advice or assistance, and calls to first aid, with accurate message taking, recording and distributing information as necessary
  • Ordering equipment/supplies for First Aid whilst ensuring these stocks are kept at reasonable levels including an annual check of first aid supplies located around the school
  • Maintenance of First Aider List and the booking of first aid training as required
  • Assist in maintenance of student lists - e.g. specific medical needs, medicines held in school.
  • Responsibility for gathering information so that the school can support students, communicating with relevant staff / parents/carers
  • Liaison with Student Health Nurses to support the students in school and ensure we facilitate the Student Health Nurses in their role
  • Support the school’s vaccination programme by working with the Student Health Nurse in organising the set up of the day
  • Engage fully with the school's Safe Practice at Work Procedures and Serious Incident Policy
  • Maintenance of accurate up to date electronic and manual systems.
  • Awareness of and compliance with The Khalsa Academy Wolverhampton’s policies and procedures as laid out in the handbook to include Health and Safety, Equality, Data Protection and whistleblowing policies
  • Ensuring that the general office stock is up to date and replenished
  • Manage the process of reprographics and maintain the school system and procedures for requests.
  • Assist with the school financial processes to the Trust central finance team.
  • Process and respond promptly to incoming communications (telephone, email, face to face), accurate message taking, copying and distributing information as necessary.
  • Undertaking such other duties as may reasonably be required of me to support the Admin Team and the school.
