Firstly, thank you for your interest in becoming part of ATAM Academy.

This is a very exciting and unique opportunity in working a growing faith school; developing policy and procedures and putting these into operation so that we become an Academy to be proud of. As our school grows each year we continue to build a team of committed support staff professionals. As such, we are looking for new member of our Pastoral Team to join an exciting expanding school that works with a fabulous community of learners, parents and stakeholders.

ATAM Academy is part of the Khalsa Academies Trust and is our first “all-through” school. KAT is a Multi Academy Trust with 2 other secondary schools based in Stoke Poges, Slough and Wolverhampton.

We are seeking an inspirational and motivated Pastoral Manager with the drive, commitment and creativity to support us in providing the best possible opportunities for our students.

As a Pastoral Manager your priorities will be to ensure the highest quality learning experience for all learners, aligned to a responsive curriculum that meets and anticipates current and future needs of our learning community.

The successful candidate will play a major role under the overall direction of the Deputy Headteacher Inclusion. You will be empowered to improve policy, process and practice in the delivery of pastoral care across the school.

We are looking for someone who has a proven ability in strategic thinking, ensuring the academy continues to provide high quality pastoral care for all our children in an inclusive environment.

This post will enhance the Senior Safeguarding Team of the academy and will take a role in all aspects of school improvement related to pastoral care.

Within your application you should state clearly why you are the ideal candidate for this role stating examples of where you have had significant impact on pastoral care.
